This opportunity supports a federal Zero Trust capability integration effort aligned to the CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model (ZTMM). In this role, you will lead coordinated execution across multiple security domains, ensuring program performance, regulatory alignment, and measurable maturity advancement within a regulated enterprise environment.
About the Role
The Program Manager serves as the overall authority for execution of a federal cybersecurity integration contract supporting enterprise security capability advancement within a regulated DHS environment. This role provides program governance, coordinates technical delivery across multiple security domains, and ensures measurable performance, compliance, and maturity progression.
What You Will Do
- Direct integrated execution across network security, identity, device, analytics, automation, and compliance workstreams
- Manage schedule, cost, performance, and quality outcomes
- Oversee major technical initiatives involving access control and segmentation improvements
- Lead PMRs, executive reporting, staffing coordination, and risk management processes
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders and interfacing contractor teams
- Support recurring maturity assessments and compliance alignment activities
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 10+ years managing Federal IT or cybersecurity programs (large enterprise preferred)
- Demonstrated experience coordinating systems analysis/engineering efforts and vendor-agnostic decisions
- Experience operating within FISMA/RMF/FedRAMP-aligned environments
- Experience with performance metrics, reporting, and maturity or capability tracking (e.g., ZTMM)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Certification
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DHS or USCIS programs
- Zero Trust program delivery experience (CISA ZTMM, NIST SP 800-207)
- Technical background in cybersecurity architecture and risk management
- CISSP/CISM (or equivalent) desirable
Clearance & Work Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust suitability
- Must obtain and maintain a DHS Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential (HSPD-12 compliant)
- Completion of required DHS security and privacy training
- Compliance with federal data protection requirements for PII, SPII, and CUI
- Adherence to Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and cybersecurity policies
- Must have resided in the U.S. for three of the last five years (unless exempt)
- Must comply with DHS Trusted Workforce 2.0 continuous vetting requirements
- Background investigation conducted via SF-85P as required
