About the Role

The Identity Engineering Specialist supports enterprise identity and access management improvements within a regulated federal environment.

What You Will Do

  • Support refinement of just-in-time and least-privilege access models
  • Engineer conditional access policy integrations
  • Align identity risk scoring with device and network enforcement controls
  • Support multi-factor authentication validation
  • Coordinate identity lifecycle automation improvements
  • Contribute to recurring identity control assessments

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 7+ years IAM or identity engineering experience
  • Experience with privileged access management
  • Experience in regulated or federal environments

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Required Certifications

  • Security+

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)

OR

  • Microsoft Identity / Entra ID cert (e.g., SC-300)OR
  • CISSP

Clearance & Work Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust suitability (SF-85P)
  • Must have resided within the United States or its Territories for at least three of the last five years (unless exempt under DHS guidelines)
  • Must obtain and maintain a DHS Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential (HSPD-12 compliant)
  • Compliance with DHS Trusted Workforce 2.0 continuous vetting requirements
  • Completion of required DHS/USCIS security and privacy training
  • Adherence to federal data protection requirements for PII, SPII, and CUI
